Standard Frame GSX 10 x 1/4"

HSLX shears are cost effective, low maintenance, guillotine shears, specially designed to meet the production requirements of a medium to high sheet metal production environment.

HSLX guillotine shears are manufactured on production lines in Europe.

They are designed and developed by the R&D department in the headquarters in Belgium and equipped with a ROBOSOFT CNC control.

ROBOSOFT is the high-tech subsidiary from the HACO GROUP founded in 1985 in Belgium.

FRAME FEATURES:

Rigid, all steel welded interlocked construction.

Shearing table with plate support arms.

A fully open space between side-frames enables easy removal of sheets or adaptation to a variety of sheet hold-up, conveying and stacking systems.

FUNCTIONALITY FEATURES:

Beam driven by a motor-pump group and two top-push-down-cylinders.

Automatic blade gap adjustment in function from the material thickness by means of 2 hydraulic cylinders.

Electro-hydraulic adjustment of the rake angle.

GSX:

Based on the choice of the customer or recommendation from the HACO representative, additional (needed) equipment like CNC control, back gauge, tilting hold-downs, squaring arm, knives and possibly other accessories will be integrated in the proposed machine frame, see chapter 2 (= Options).

SC101T Shear control with Touch screen:

CNC control SC101 with the following characteristics as standard:

-LCD-display (5”)

-Memory capacity: Max 200 programs, max. 400 steps.

Max 127 steps per program.

Material list of max. 32 materials.

-Each program contains the basic cutting parameters such as material type or material thickness, blade gap and cutting angle setting

-Electro-hydraulic blade gap setting by 2 cylinders.

-Stroke control adjustment.

-Automatic programmable retraction from the back gauge.

-Possibility of jog mode on back gauge.

-Backlash compensation, delayed sheet release.

-Mode selection Inch-Metric.

-(Preset) stroke counter up or down with 0-stop.

-Language support

-Plate support (optional)

Programming modes:

· Automatic:

By entering the sheet thickness for mild steel, the control automatically sets the blade gap and the cutting angle as a function of the sheet thickness.

All parameters can be manually modified according to the actual data.

· Manual:

All cutting parameters such as material type, sheet thickness, cutting angle and blade gap are programmed manually.

Safety equipment for GSX 10 x 1/4":

Standard Hold downs:

A large number of hold downs with big clamping surface ensures optimal clamping of the plate.

The hold downs are equipped with tilting feet which retract completely in the interior hold-down housing.

Finger protection Type II with hand gaps:

Safety guard in front of the hold-downs and cutting blades ensures finger protection.

Reinforced construction with metal bars.

Hand safety guard with hand gaps for handling small sheets.

Motorized back gauge 40 Inch, 4.3 Inch/sec Ball screw spindle:

The back gauge consists of 2 rigid arms (containing guides and control spindle)

and the parallel adjustable back gauge angle iron.

This assembly assures a precise positioning of the sheet.

The properly machined angle iron is maximized between the machine housing for shear models until 10’ working length.

Shears with 12’ working length have an angle iron of approximately 10’

Standard Plate support 20 inch and 2 Ball transfer units:

Plate support arms with ball transfer.

Ball transfer unit principally mounted in a hole from the short square plate support arms,

for easier plate manipulation.

Cutting line illumination with wire:

With the cutting line illumination with wire, a narrow shadow line is projected on the plate to cut. This is useful for cutting plates which have been marked.

Set of blades for stainless Steel:

Set of high-quality blades mounted on the machine.

The blades are made from a special alloy and appropriate for cutting mainly stainless steel. Cutting of mild steel is also allowed.

On request:

Blades for cutting of high tensile steel types like Weldox and Hardox.

Hydraulic oil for machine:

The oil tank of the machine is not filled.

Because of environmental or traffic regulations, transport of oil together with machines is in some countries not allowed and should occur by an authorized oil supplier.

Oil will be delivered separately by a supplier.
